Our Story – Flavours of Byron Bay - Gift Baskets & Gourmet Hampers
Byron
Bay is a beautiful coastal region situated on the most
easterly point of Australia.
Byron
Bay is renowned for its pristine beaches, dolphins,
whales, café's, restaurants, surfing, lighthouse,
diving, markets, its peaceful environment, rainforests,
alternate community focus and stunning sub tropical areas
that surround this beautiful town.
Byron
Bay is home to many world class annual events such as the
Blues & Roots Festival, Byron Bay Writers Festival,
Taste of Byron Festival, Surfing Contests, &
Splendour in the Grass.
Flavours of Byron Bay have used Byron Bay & Northern Rivers products where possible in their gift baskets and gourmet hampers. The Cedok Bath Ladle, White
Stone Soap Dish, Pumice Stone, Loofah, Baskets, Wine,
Organic Hand Towels & Face Wipes & Stationery are
from out of this area. (see links for information on
these products). Flavours of Byron Bay have been inspired
to use recycled, recyclable & renewable resources in
nearly all of our products. Our philosophy is to promote
healthy living whilst giving back to the environment.
Flavours
of Byron Bay would also like to promote a non gender
biased service. That includes the union of love to be
between a man and a woman, a man and a man, a woman and a
woman (or both). Flavours of Byron Bay use non specific
colours in our baby hampers. ie blue for boys and pink
for girls.

About
Me
Hi,
my name is Vivienne Westcott. I have just
purchased this fantastic business from Tara
Eastwell.

My
husband and I arrived in this area back in 1987
with our two small children. We purchased a
stone fruit orchard in the hills behind Byron
Bay. After 4 years , decided we were not happy
using all the chemicals required back then to
grow stone fruit. We got rid of the trees,
planted some macadamia trees and just returned
the rest of the land to pastures. We then
started a business creating beautiful candles
which we ran successfully for 14
years.
After
selling , we have had a break, maintaining our
property.
Now
it is time to get back into business and after
personally using all the delicious , locally
made products for many years, it just seemed
logical to carry on the promotion of our
beautiful area and fantastic produce.
We
hope you and your friends will experience the
thrill of sending or receiving one of our
gourmet hampers and enjoying our local
produce.
